Summary

Geophysicist and geospatial data professional whose doctoral research applied satellite altimetry–predicted bathymetry, multi-beam surveys, magnetic anomaly data, and shipboard geophysical measurements to the tectonic reconstruction of the Galapagos Rise and Bauer Microplate. Shipboard service as Physical Properties Specialist aboard the JOIDES Resolution (ODP Leg 198) and subsequent role as Co-Principal Investigator on an ODP-funded integration of site-survey seismic data with coring and downhole logs provided direct, hands-on work with the bathymetric, seismic, sediment, and core data central to marine mineral resource characterization. Subsequent experience in enterprise systems administration contributed rigorous QA/QC discipline, REST API–based data integration, technical workflow development and improvement, and technical documentation practices across multi-organizational implementations. Recently completed the Professional Geospatial Data Analytics & Visualization Certificate through Michigan State University (June 2026), with coursework in cartography, geovisualization, Python and ArcPy geoprocessing, and spatial statistics.
